Author: Joann Puffer Kotcher

Joann Puffer Kotcher, served as an American Red Cross volunteer during the early part of the Vietnam War and wrote a meticulously researched memoir based on her journal from that time. She was one of the first women to serve in a combat zone and her experiences are described as human, exhausting, dangerous, and inspiring!
