Displays, Handouts, and Announcements Policy

As part of its public service and information mission, the Library provides information to the community through displays, handouts, and announcements. Due to space constraints, a limited area is available for use by non-profit organizations, community groups, and governmental agencies. The Library reserves the right to limit the size, number of items, and the frequency with which the group or organization may have a display, post an announcement, or place handouts for distribution. Displays and handouts of a commercial nature will not be accepted.

Final authority for all displays, handouts, and bulletin board announcements rests with the Library Director. The Library reserves the right to remove inappropriate items at any time.

The Library does not allow petitioning, soliciation, distribution of literature or leaflets, canvassing, or similar types of appeals by members of the public within the facility.
