Did you know the library has free downloadable eBooks and audiobooks?

What you need: 

Springfield Township Library Card

Device such as a tablet, phone or kindle

Step One: 

Go to your app store and download Libby (or Overdrive if using a Kindle)

Step Two:

Put in your library card number and PIN (contact the library if you need help with your PIN)

Step Three:

Find a great book and download!

The reference desk is happy to offer assistance with this service either by appointment or you can stop by with your device.

The library board meetings are open to the public and meet at the library.  They take place once per month on the third Tuesday of the month at 7PM.

2019 Storytimes start January 7th/8th

Sign up anytime for storytimes!  Please register in advance so we can have supplies ready for you.

January 2019 storytimes start up and will feature music, stories, crafts, and friends!  These free sessions are a great way to introduce young children and toddlers to a classroom-like environment, provide early literacy exposure and encourage social learning.

Little Me (Ages 2.5 - 4 yrs old) Mondays at 10:15AM

Toddler Time (Ages 10 months - 30 months) Tuesdays at 10:15AM

Basic Technology Classes

We offer classes by appointment that are tailored to suit your interests.  Common topics are using email, downloading eBooks, using your tablet, basics of Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint, basic phone questions, or other technology questions.  The classses run 45 minutes and can be set up through the reference desk.

Call 248-846-6550 and ask for the reference desk to set up an appointment.

Book Club (for Adults)

Book club is open to all.  Simply read the book and come to the meeting!  Books are availabel one month prior at the checkout desk or can be ordered more in advance by request.

Meets at 1:00 in the Community Room (fourth Thursday of the month).
