Davisburg Candle Factory - Wednesday, Sept 11 / 6:00 - 7:00
Learn all about this historic Davisburg icon!  Presentation by current owner, Brian Basti.  No registration necessary.  Open to all.  No cost.

Local History Family Bingo - Thursday, Sept. 19 / 6:00 - 7:00
Bring the whole family to a local history talk!  Library Director, Cathy Forst, will present a fun bingo for the kids along with interesting local history facts for the adults.  No registration necessary.  No cost.  Open to all!

Heritage Festival Parade
Saturday, September 21 / 10:00AM
Who wants to be in a parade?  Any child who participated in this year's summer reading program is welcome to walk with the library staff (and/or parents) and CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG in the Heritage Festival Parade.  Please call us or stop by to register with your name and email address; we will forward all details before the event.

Book Walk!  Shiawassee Pavilion, Saturday, Sept. 21 / 1:00 - 2:30
It's like a cake walk, except it's books!  Come walk and land on the lucky square to WIN A FREE BOOK!  Fun for all ages and totally free!  Takes place at the Shiawassee Pavilion near baseball fields off of the Civic Center Drive.  Sponsored by Friends of the Library!

Cornelius Davis, the Wright Brothers and Henry Ford - Saturday, Sept. 21 / 2:30 at the Shiawassee Pavilion
Cornelius Davis came looking for a place to build a mill.  He found one... and the rest is history!  Come and hear this interesting history lecture from Carol Bacak-Egbo, Special Lecturer ast Oakland University.  Sponsored by Oakland county Parks, Springfiel dTwp.
